A walk through the Belvedere gardens
The main garden links the Lower and Upper Belvedere. Terraces, pools and flower beds frame views of both palaces. You can enjoy a walk here separately from a visit to the museum collections.

A baroque landscape between the palaces
The garden design is associated with Dominique Girard. Its terraces follow the slope between the buildings. Look back as you walk: the views from the lower and upper ends of the grounds give different perspectives on the ensemble.
Free entry and seasonal opening hours
The main palace garden is free to enter, but its gates are not open around the clock. Opening times change with the season, so check them before an early or evening walk. Admission to the museums requires a separate ticket.
